SILK Holding Bhd's subsidiary, Jasa Merin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (JMSB), has secured a RM12 million contract from an established oil major to provide an Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel.
The contract is for a primary period of eight months with an extension option, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia here today.
The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of SILK for the financial year ending July 31, 2011.
