BP Plastics Holding Bhd reported a pre-tax profit of RM6.498 million for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2010 from RM5.759 million in the same quarter of last year.
The profit was achieved over a bigger revenue of RM55.649 million against RM48.751 million previously, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.
With the overall improvement in global economic recovery and sustained demand for polyethylene packaging products, the company says it is optimistic of achieving a satisfactory performance for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2010. -- Bernama
